Things to Note: When carrying babies under 4 months, position their heads to one side and monitor breathing. Grunting may indicate breathing distress and should be removed from the carrier.
When wearing a child on your back, frequently look at yourself when passing a window or another reflective object. You should be looking for proper positioning, the ties are in the proper place, and that the child still looks comfy.
It is safe for babies/toddlers to have their arms out over the top of the carrier if that is what they prefer.
